I always envy the folks that can make a living creating beautiful things with their hands. Whenever I go to a craft fair and see the beautiful figures carved in wood, or beautiful crocheted afghans, I long to create something beautiful as well. To make a living creating and selling something that you have fun making is awesome. I would like to have an extra room at home just for crafting.
I remember way back in junior high when it was decided that the boys had to take cooking and sewing and the girls had to take metal shop. I had the most fun in metal shop, hammering a design into a piece of copper. It was great! It's probably still up in my mom's attic. Another craft I enjoy is ceramics. I would definitely buy a kiln if I ever won the lottery. I have to say that mosaics and ceramics are my all time favorite craft hobbies.
